How long will I be in treatment?
Everyone’s situation is different, so length of stay in treatment can be different as well. The average length of treatment will be approximately 30 days, although this can vary based upon your response to treatment.
Residents are permitted to smoke during free time and in designated areas.
Detoxification is the process that allows the body to rid itself of a substance while managing the symptoms of withdrawal. Detox at Raleigh Recovery is done under the supervision of our clinical staff. Treatment with behavioral therapy should follow detox.
Every client is guaranteed the right to privacy. Upon admission, you will decide whom, if anyone, you want your progress to be shared with.

Our admissions staff will provide you with a full list of necessities before you join us, but some general items include:

  • State issued driver’s license, photo ID or birth certificate
  • Insurance card
  • Current prescription medications in original bottles
  • Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc)
  • Feminine products
A referral from another healthcare provider is not required for admission to Raleigh Recovery.
Your admissions counselor will go over your medications prior to your arrival and will let you know if any should be brought with you. Any prescription medication should be in its original bottle with a label that includes the name of the medication, the dosage and frequency administered, as well as the name of the physician who prescribed the medication.
